This winter my car was due for inspection sticker so I decided to go to Easton Gas. When I went there, I learned that the business was sold out last year, and there is a new owner, his name Tito, he was funny person, he drove the car inside the garage and after few minutes, he called me to come inside the garage. I found that front- end was very loose and the car needs lower and upper ball-joints. The owner said that he could fix the car and do the re- inspection sticker in the same day. I asked the owner if he could give me a cost estimate to get the car fix. After he told me the price, I told him that I do not have the money now, and I decided to call another mechanic to compare the prices. I found that Easton gas price was less by about $50.00. I took the car to Easton Gas; they fix the front end and get the car re-inspected again. In addition, the owner let my used his own car, until they finish fixing my car.
These guys take really good care of me and my car! No matter what I'm having done, they always take me right in without an appointment and their prices are on par with everyone else. They've also recently renovated and the place looks great.
Since we moved to Easton 2 years ago, Easton Gas has been the one place where I, my husband, and my two oldest daughters have brought our cars for everything from routine maintenance / oil changes to annual inspections to new tires and more. Tito, Hazem, and the rest of the crew are always friendly, polite, and completely professional. I have found their prices reasonable and their work beyond reproach. And, yes, they will drive you home or lend out their own cars if a repair will take a very long time. I recommend this place without reservation!
I had very bad experience lately with these guys. They are generally nice people but I don't think they have technical expertise to do satisfactory job. They kept putting parts to resolve check engine issue on my car but could not resolve it. Next, they wanted me to change timing belt and I said stop. I took the car to dealership and problem was solved in just couple hours.
I went to Easton Gas for an inspection sticker. I asked how much it was. He asked for my credit card, slid it through and handed back the receipt. That's how much, he said. When I asked him to please remove the previous sticker from the other corner of the windshield, He first said he doesn't have a proper scraper. Then he asked me to move my car out of the stall, for another customer. I asked again to please remove the old sticker. It would only take a second. He replied, it's not my job... Will never do business here again.
I recommend this place for any type of car repairs, inspection sticker and gas. They have the best service in the town and their price very fair. Since we moved to Easton about fifteen years ago, we used to have the entire family cars repairs, the inspection stickers, oil changes, and gas from Easton Gas, until they close the business for remodeling. The business closed for long time so we had to look for new place to get cars repaired and to buy gas, we tried many places in Easton but we never were satisfied. After they reopened the business, we went back to them.
